OtherwoRldly WRiters Group

For the notebook hoarders, midnight drafters, dialogue mutterers, and word-count watchers.

Alex, our resident fantasy writer and tome slinger, is heading up our new group for writers of other worlds. Whether you write fantasy, sci-fi, or you want to start, this is a place to share ideas, get feedback, make plans and friends.

Become a member of our first ever writers group!

Come write with us

when you have read everything, why not write?

Pull up a chair. Bring your messy drafts, your abandoned ideas, and join a community of fellow writers. This is a place to share your wins, plot problems, favourite lines, and the occasional existential crisis over commas and apostrophes.

This might be for you if...

  • you keep thinking about your story when you should be sleeping
  • you want writer friends who understand the obsession
  • you struggle to stay motivated on your own
  • you love talking craft almost as much as writing itself
  • you want encouragement without weird competitiveness
Join the group

What to expect

Membership is just £10 per month, giving you access to our writers' Discord community, where you'll find:

  • Fortnightly virtual co-writing sessions
  • Friends to chat about the craft
  • Tips and advice for writing fantastical stories
  • Writing sprints and challenges
  • A supportive space to share wins, struggles, and works-in-progress

As the community grows, we hope to also in-person meet ups, workshops, and author craft chats.
